Vasita (Pleng) Jirathiyut

Vasita (Pleng) Jirathiyut is an arts administrator, producer and independent researcher based between London and Bangkok. Currently a Programme and Fundraising Assistant and an Assistant Project Producer at the Institute of International Visual Arts (iniva), she works with the artistic team to organise and deliver public programmes and exhibitions that amplify voices of artists and cultural practitioners from Global Majority backgrounds.

With an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London (2025), her research focuses on artistic autonomy and its relationship to wider social contexts, particularly the dynamics between art institutions, authorities, artists, and the public.

Formerly a Relationship, Partnership and Fundraising Manager at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). Vasita has collaborated with international artists and organisations to realise projects that foreground multidisciplinary contemporary art in Thailand. Her approach is informed by cultural discourses and interconnected sociopolitical dynamics across Southeast Asia.
