Dunne + Raby

Dunne + Raby is a collaboration between the industrial designer Anthony Dunne and the architect Fiona Raby.

In the late eighties both lived in Japan, where Dunne worked at the Sony Design Center and Fiona in a cross-disciplinary architectural practice. On returning to England in 1994 they set up a partnership to explore the social, psychological and aesthetic dimensions of everyday life in relation to electronic technology, through a mixture of commissions and academic work.

Anthony Dunne is Senior Research Fellow for Computer Related Design und Senior Tutor for Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London. Fiona Raby teaches at the Architecture and the Interaction Design departments of the RCA.
