Ros Gray

Dr Ros Gray is a writer and theorist, and is Lecturer in Fine Art (Critical Studies) in the department of Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a tutor in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, London. Her research investigates transnational networks of cinematic militancy and seeks to understand the function of the screen as a site of radical gathering. Gray co-edited with Kodwo Eshun a special issue of Third Text entitled ‘The Militant Image- A Ciné-Geography’ in 2011, and has contributed articles and essays to numerous journals and books, including, most recently, The Journal of African Cinemas and Lars Kristensen (ed), Postcommunist Film – Russia, Eastern Europe and World Culture (Routledge, 2012).
