About

Anthony Comber-Badu (AZCB) is a writer, photographer, filmmaker and creative producer working in Accra and London.

Anthony has experience across broadcast, short film, music video and branded content with a preference for social impact filmmaking. Anthony co-founded and serves as artistic director of flat 70 CIC, a non profit arts organisation located in Elephant & Castle’s £4bn regeneration scheme. Despite losing his childhood home to the same scheme, Anthony continues to work as an advocate and organiser for local residents on a range of spatial and racial justice issues.

Since 2018, Anthony has worked as a Creative Producer with experimental Ghanaian spatial design studio, Limbo Accra. His work includes R&D, arts programming, film production & writing.

In 2022 Anthony was appointed curator of South London Gallery’s South x South African film programme and is directing an artist’s moving image artwork commissioned by Arts Council England.

Anthony trusts in image & language to invent new futures. With iniva, he was commissioned to produce and direct a video portrait of DRIFT – a post-national digital pavilion and a documentary of Future Collect.
