Changing States

A year-long programme of debates that considered the shifts in the cultural landscape in the light of globalisation. The discussions covered a range of questions from the state of contemporary art to the branding of public art spaces. Curated by Niru Ratnam and Gilane Tawadros, speakers included artists, cultural theorists, curators and social commentators and were held at different venues throughout the UK.
