Arts Council England is Iniva’s main stakeholder, providing core funding for our programme of activities. Arts Council England (ACE) works to get more art to more people in more places. It develops and promotes the arts across England, acting as an independent body at arm’s length from government. Between 2006 and 2008, ACE will invest £1.1 billion of public money from government and the National Lottery in supporting the arts. This is the bedrock of support for the arts in England.
Esmée Fairbairn Foundation aims to improve the quality of life for people and communities throughout the UK both now and in the future. We do this by funding the charitable work of organisations with the ideas and ability to achieve positive change. The Foundation is one of the largest independent grant-makers in the UK. We make grants of £30 – £35 million annually towards a wide range of work within the arts, education and learning, the environment and social change..
