IN CONVERSATION WITH PARK CHAN-KYONG moderated by Christian Nyampeta.

A visual presentation of clips from Director Park’s film Sindoan (2008) followed by a conversation about the film and its contexts both at the time of creation and in the present day, as the artist’s thinking has developed. The conversation will explore notions of tradition and the sublime, the ‘Asian Gothic’ and its limitations, as well as touching on some of the ideas he is currently exploring in preparation for his exhibition of work at Iniva in January.

There will be a Q&A session after the conversation.
