File size: 150.29 KBValues are what we consider to be of greatest importance in life. Exploring values is about more than naming and defining principles to live by – what we think influences how we behave which, in turn, colours how we feel.
This resource features 32 worksheets which pair letters of the alphabet with values along with multiple choice questions. There are no right or wrong answers – the choices are given to prompt thinking and discussion. The worksheets can be adapted to reflect different themes, ages or abilities and used in the classroom or workshop setting, in verbal therapy sessions as a starting point for conversations or to inspire art or drama therapy exercises.
File size: 428.43 KBAggression isn’t just about getting into conflicts or disagreements – it can also be evident in how we behave.
Any of us can be aggressive if we are provoked, assertive if we believe in something or someone strongly enough and passive, giving in too easily, if we feel we aren’t as good or as deserving as everyone else. The way we behave usually reflects our levels of self-esteem and confidence.
No one is perfect – we all have to develop the ability to observe ourselves and correct our behaviour when its moving too far in one direction or another. Working on our confidence, self-respect and self-esteem is usually part of this.

Whatever our age, we’ve all been a teenager. We know from experience that this is a challenging phase of life and research with young people confirms this. Anger is normal – it only becomes problematic if we don’t recognise it for what it is and if we express it in ways that work against us, rather than for us.
This worksheet focuses on adolescent anger exploring it from different angles and posing general questions on related themes. You can also give examples from your own life or from what you’ve observed around you. As well, you might want to look at the A to Z of Emotions cards to see how anger is described and how Chila Burman’s art work illustrates this.

We know from research into leadership and from our own experience that the contemporary work place is a complex environment. As leaders, we are faced with numerous tasks, both practical and relationship-based, all of which inevitably trigger degrees of anxiety. A key leadership skill is to learn about, and find ways of managing, anxieties. This resource encourages ways to name, accept and share our anxieties through exploration of the ‘uncertainty cloud’.
