Living Together is a major British Council initiative that brings diverse groups together from across Europe, to contribute to the global debate on intercultural dialogue. The initiative will include a touring film and photography exhibition, workshops and young people’s programmes.
Iniva’s will deliver a series of week-long workshops, inviting artists from various participating countries to gather together and exchange ideas and experiences around the core themes of the exhibition.
The workshops are facilitated by selected artists and iniva staff and will aim to provide opportunities for artists to meet and create new professional networks while working together to develop collaborative potential projects. The process aims to encourage experimentation, stimulate new ideas and nurture exchange of skills, methodologies and thought. The projects will focus on themes such as intercultural dialogue, religious tolerance, ethnic conflict and economic migration.
