This event is inspired by Burak Delier’s film, Crisis and Control which features real white-collar workers adopting a series of strenuous yoga positions dressed in their formal work attire, discussing their careers and the conflicts between their organisational and private lives.
During this event there will be an instructor led yoga session in which participants are encouraged to reflect on their working lives and how this conflicts and compliments their personal lives, whilst practicing yoga. At the end of the yoga session there will be a discussion on outcomes of participants’ meditations on the subject.
The instructor leading the session is Annie Sherburne from gogoyoga. Annie is a textile, fashion and jewellery designer, art tutor as well as a yoga instructor.
