In partnership with Iniva, the Institute of International Visual Arts, sixteen international art students from the University of East London´s Fine Art and Photography departments feature in an exhibition presenting a response to contemporary times at Rich Mix.
Artworks range from installations to performances, paintings to large scale photographs, which address a broad range of issues such as subcultures, architecture, abstract spaces, identity, and isolation. The common ground is that they all explore the unique position of the artist living in a thriving urban environment such as London.
Featuring: Beatriz Acevedo, Joshua Brown, Marta Maria Ceynowa, Mike Clarke, Aaron Coe, Samuel António Frazão Ferreira, Miguel Ivorra, Isabell Metsapelto, Melaina Neal, Luke Noel, Konstantinos Noulis, Larry Poulton, Riccardo Raspa, Karolin Schwab, Agnes Stasiauskaite and Charles Woodward.
Curated by Teresa Cisneros, Education Curator at Iniva, the works in the exhibition were selected by Rich Mix, Diversity Art Forum, Rahila Haque from Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, Iniva and the University of East London.
