Interested in developing your creative skills? Want to delve deeper into ideas and cultural debates but don’t know how?
From 3 April to 5 June, Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), in collaboration with TATE Liverpool, is launching a free 10-week workshop course called Keywords Investigations.
Led by writer and educator Adrian Rifkin, these Wednesday evening workshops explore the meanings and histories of key cultural terms significant to you. The programme runs alongside Iniva’s Keywords exhibition and the outcomes from this course will be included in a project to be realised at TATE Liverpool in 2014.
We are looking for 15 dedicated participants who are keen to develop their creative skills and are aged 18 or above. The is a free opportunity but as a sign of your commitment we do ask for a £50 deposit (negotiable for unwaged), returnable once the project is complete.
Please send a short statement to learning@iniva.org outlining a specific keyword that you would like to explore and why, plus how this could be realised in a workshop context. Please also include a short paragraph about yourself, including contact details.
Deadline for applications: Friday 22 March 2013. We will let you know if you have been accepted on the course on 25 March 2013.
