In January & February 2015 we continue our series of ‘A to Z of Emotion’ workshops facilitated by Lyn French*, art therapist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist, exploring common feelings from E to H.
The workshops will include a psychoanalytically informed exploration of key emotions and art exercises that can be adapted for use in group or individual sessions with any age group.

Thursday evenings 6-7:30 pm at Iniva, Rivington Place
Cost: £80 for series of 4 sessions (includes workshop packs & discount on our Emotional Learning Card range)
CPD Value: 6 hours (CPD Certificates issued at the end of the series)

22 January Exploring E for Empty Inside & its opposite, wholeness and inner security
29 January Exploring F for Fragility and its opposite, emotional resilience and internal strength
5 February Exploring G for Greed & its opposite, consideration for others and meaningful relating
12 February Exploring H for Hate & its opposite, what self-love and other-love constitutes
Participants will be given handouts including suggestions for practical activities and discussion points to take away linked to our Emotional Learning Cards and a discount on the sets at Rivington Place.

Workshop Facilitator
*Lyn French, A Space Director and art therapist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist (HPCP, UKCP, BACP), has over 15 year’s experience in delivering and supervising school-based therapy provision with previous experience in NHS psychiatric services. She has co-edited two books: Therapeutic Practice in Schools, Vol 1: Working with the Child Within (Routledge, 2012) and Therapeutic Practice in Schools, Vol 2: The Contemporary Adolescent (Routledge; September 2014) and is on the staff team of the MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents at Birkbeck College, University of London.
