The "Cosmos Series" constitutes the last major series of paintings undertaken by Aubrey Williams before his death in 1990, shown at the October Gallery, London from 14 December 1995 - 27 January 1996. The "Aubrey Williams Seminar" was organised by the October Gallery, London in collaboration with the Institute of International Visual Arts to coincide with the exhibition held at the October Gallery, London on the 19 January 1996. Speakers included: Rasheed Araeen; Wilson Harris; Stuart Hall; David Allan Mellor; Anne Walmsley.
