The Project Archivist is responsible for overseeing the digitisation of iniva’s uncatalogued archive collection of approximately 5,000 slides and 200 artist files and assist in establishing an accessible and searchable catalogue on documents relating to artists of colour. This work in part will support the aims of ‘Transforming Collections: Reimagining Art, Nation and Heritage’, interdisciplinary collaborative project led by University of the Arts London (UAL) for which iniva is a Collaborating Organisation.

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience of managing and overseeing digitisation projects involving slides and artist files, cataloguing to ISAD(G) archival standards and knowledge of best practice in archival storage and preservation of digital materials. The role requires first-rate project management, database and computer literacy expertise.
